Women and Children's Trauma and Gender Project (WC-TAG)

Congratulations to this cohort of 4 agencies Mccall Center for Behavioral Health, Perception Programs, Inc, Liberation Programs, and Family and Children's Agency

The Women and Children's Trauma and Gender Project (WC-TAG) provides training and technical assistance on trauma-informed, gender-responsive systems change to four agencies with mental health or co-occurring programs serving women or women and children. Agencies involved receive consultation from noted experts in trauma and gender including Stephanie S. Covington, PhD, LCSW , Eileen M. Russo, LADC, Steve Bistran, MA, Colette Anderson, LCSW, and Kathleen Callahan.

The process includes a two-day kickoff, toolkit, site consultation visits, peer walkthrough, CEC-approved staff training with additional train-the-trainer available, and technical assistance with surveys, implementation plan, and fidelity scale throughout the process. Agencies applied to Request for Qualifications and were selected to participate in the 15-month process.

This project was made possible by a grant from the hope & grace fund, a project of New Venture Fund in partnership with the global women’s skincare brand philosophy, inc.

Prior TAG projects have included the TAG Agencies Project and Criminal Justice Trauma and Gender Agencies Project
