 2019 Conference Program 

An active day of wellness and recovery for the mind and body, this year’s conference includes therapies such as mindfulness, meditation, yoga, nutrition, origami, spirituality, trauma release exercises, a sober toolbox and more. Keynote speaker Leslie Booker is a teacher and author that brings social justice, yoga, and mindfulness practices to juvenile detention centers, residential treatment centers, and on Rikers Island. Additional panels and speakers are designed to promote mental health & recovery from addiction. For both professionals and individuals in recovery, last year's event had over 400 people. A Healing Arts Space with activities running all day is run by TOIVO Center, Advocacy Unlimited.
