Colette Anderson, Executive Director
Colette spent over thirty years of her career at the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) where she last served as the Chief Executive Officer of Western CT Mental Health Network. Colette has an MSW from the University of Connecticut, is an LCSW, and maintains her ACSW. As Executive Director, Colette is responsible for the oversight of all programs and funding streams, and for connecting with community providers. When asked what she likes about working at the Consortium she said, “the comradery of the staff and learning new things”. Outside of work, Colette enjoys spending time with family and friends. Her favorite quote is by the Dalai Lama, “Our prime purpose in this life is to help others and if you can’t help them at least don’t hurt them.”
Sheila Kinscherf, Executive Assistant
As the Executive Assistant at the Consortium, Sheila provides support to the Executive Director by organizing her calendar, preparing for Board of Director’s meeting, and so much more. In addition, she coordinates the Women’s Services Program Improvement Collaborative and the Trauma and Gender Learning Collaborative. Sheila has a bachelor's degree in fine arts and a master’s in organizational leadership. Sheila says that she loves everything about working at the Consortium, especially the leadership and her coworkers. Currently, Volodymyr Zelensky provides her inspiration. Sheila loves her family and has many creative passions, such as sewing, painting, and drawing. A phrase she lives by is, today is a good day for a good day!
Gloria Epps, Director of Administration
Gloria joined The Consortium in December 2002 as an Administrative Assistant. Gloria has held several Consortium positions since then, including her current role as Director of Administration.
When she’s not at work, Gloria likes to relax at home while listening to music, jazz or Gospel, or watch her favorite T.V. shows.
Jaquanna (Quanna) Soules, Marketing Coordinator
Quanna is the Marketing Coordinator for the Consortium. In this role, she manages core marketing responsibilities, including building the Consortium’s website, designing the training catalogs, and developing promotional materials. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clark Atlanta University. Quanna’s favorite thing about working at the Consortium is being surrounded by “strong accomplished women”. Her passion is photography, and she simply cannot live without family, faith, and technology.
Shannon Perkins, Director of Education & Training
As the Director of Education and Training for the Consortium, Shannon is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the department. She coordinates and is responsible for over 100 trainings annually and supervises a team of staff. Shannon is also responsible for oversight of all federally funded initiatives through DMHAS, DCF, and other state departments. Shannon has a BA in Human Development/English and an MSW from the University of Connecticut. She enjoys her job at the Consortium because she knows that the work she does each day contributes to better behavioral healthcare for those in need. In her free time, Shannon enjoys cooking and loves to try new recipes. Shannon’s favorite quote is from Eleanor Roosevelt, “no one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”
Amy Lane, Administrative Training Coordinator
Amy has a BS in food science and nutrition from the University of Rhode Island and recently completed her 200-hour YTT from the CT Yoga Center and is Reiki Level 2 certified. She is currently pursuing her energy healing certification under the Healing Touch Program (TM). As the Administrative Training Coordinator, Amy is responsible for submitting and maintaining state and national NASW continuing education certifications for Consortium trainings. She works closely with large agencies; registering staff and providing customer service to ensure positive experiences. Amy loves her work-family and the support they provide for each other. Amy can’t live without coffee, her porch, and stretching out in the warm sun. In her free time, she enjoys studying tarot, crystal healing, and other healing modalities.
Sharon Molloy, Administrative Training Specialist
As an Administrative Training Specialist, Sharon provides customer support, assists with registration and catalog development, and coordinates lunch and learn and integrative health events. She appreciates the work that the Consortium does for behavioral health providers and loves her “work family”. Sharon graduated with a master’s degree from Southern Connecticut State University in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Studies and worked for the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services for 36 years before retiring and joining the Consortium team. Outside of work, she can be found golfing, walking on a beach, or spending time with her family/friends. Her favorite quote was said by Ghandi, “In a gentle way, you can shake the world.”
Alexandra (Allie) Caruso, Administrative Training Specialist
As an Administrative Training Specialist, Allie provides technical support on most of our virtual trainings and events. She also assists with various marketing functions and runs our social media platforms. She enjoys developing TikTok videos and coaxing her co-workers to partake. She graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a BSW and while working at the Consortium completed her master's degree in Exercise Science from Southern Connecticut State University. Her favorite thing about working at the Consortium is being surrounded by empowered women every day. Allie’s passion is coaching field hockey, and is rarely found too far from a gym, music, or rice cakes.
Morgan Flanagan-Folcarelli, Administrative Assistant
Morgan Flanagan-Folcarelli received her BA in English and Philosophy from Mount Holyoke College. She is the Editor of Trauma Matters, the Consortium’s quarterly publication on trauma and best-practices in trauma-informed care, and the Consortium’s blog, The Consortium Speaks. In her work at the Consortium, she regularly collaborates with speakers and state agencies to coordinate the organization’s training catalogs and plan events for a variety of initiatives. Her favorite part of working at the Consortium is the opportunity to learn more about behavioral health and the resources available to support our community in Connecticut. Morgan’s favorite hobbies include writing and drawing, and she’d be lost in the world without coffee, the group chat she has with six of her close friends, and her Bluetooth headphones.
Kay Warchol, Intern (they/them)
As a graduate student at Fordham University and intern at the Consortium, Kay collaborates with staff to support various special events and projects. To date, Kay designs marketing materials and flyers and provided a Lunch and Learn workshop. Kay enjoys their work as it helps further diversify the behavioral health profession. Kay cannot live without music, friends, and a cozy bed. Outside of work, they enjoy spending time at the beach or Book Barn and playing Dungeon and Dragons with friends.
