The Trauma Directory is a resource for services that address psychological trauma including childhood abuse, sexual assault, domestic violence/intimate partner violence, and combat trauma.

How To Use This Directory

There are two search options. The first allows you to search for programs based on criteria, while the second allows you to pick a program by name. The Trauma Directory is expanding and will include more programs as the information become available.

1. To select a program based on criteria, select any or all of the options that fit your search. You can search for a program by town/city (or statewide), gender, age, service of interest or service models. The services of interest option groups programs based on the kind of assistance they offer such as residential, outpatient, group counseling, individual counseling, hotlines, etc. The service models option searches for programs based on the type of treatment model and/or theory their services are based on, such as Seeking Safety, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, or EMDR.
2. To pick a program by name, simply select the program in the drop down menu on the bottom of the page.

In addition to the Trauma Directory, the following resources are available:

• For free information or to seek help in a crisis, dial 2-1-1. Some of their services include providing information and referrals on food, housing, employment, health care, legal issues, and much more. You can also log on to www.ctunitedway.org

• The Network of Care for Behavioral Health at www.connecticut.networkofcare.org
