The Connecticut Women's Consortium Trainings

The Connecticut Women’s Consortium, a statewide policy, training and advocacy organization specializing in women’s behavioral health, is pleased to present its Summer/Fall 2010 Training Calendar - a reflection of our commitment to the provision of gender responsive, trauma informed and culturally sensitive services.

The calendar presents a snapshot of all the trainings available from July-December 2010. All of the trainings listed in the calendar further the goals of the CT Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) Recovery Initiative, Women’s Services Practice Improvement Collaborative, and the Trauma Enhancement Initiative .

New Online Registration

You can now register and pay online for all Connecticut Women’s Consortium sponsored trainings at http://training.womensconsortium.org/. Please register and submit payment as soon as possible. With online registration, we expect sessions to fill quickly!

Please note, if you have NOT registered for previous trainings, use the “click here” link on the registration page to create a personal profile. Once you complete your profile, you will be directed back to the sign in page to register for trainings. If you have questions, please contact trainer@womensconsortium.org.

To find out if a training session is being held when the weather conditions are questionable, please watch ABC channel 8, NBC channel 30 or CBS channel 3 for information on the training/event scheduled for that day. You may also call the Consortium office after 7 AM on the day of the training. There will be a taped message if the training has been canceled. The phone number is (203) 909-6888.
