The Homeless Families Transition Collaborative receives Housing and Urban Development (HUD) funding through the Connecticut Women's Consortium. The CWC is the lead agency of the collaborative which also includes the following community-based agencies:
The HFTC offers homeless women, most who are heads of households, and their homeless families, integrated supportive services and transitional housing opportunities. The program fosters the stability and empowerment of women and their families from the time they are living in an emergency shelter to the time they are prepared to live in an apartment of their own.
